  	Portrait and Biographical Record gave date of death as 1871. The place of death in LI Genealogy was given as Bellport. The Woodruff farm was just outside the present Village of Bellport, and some might consider this area Brookhaven Hamlet, although the post office is still Bellport.
  Notes	[While IGI indicated that her birth surname was Floman, Chapman "Portraits and Biographical Record" indicated her birth surname was Davis. I have no idea of the source for the IGI entry, but I suspect that the material in Chapman was based on interviews with the subject, Charles M Woodruff, her son. I have therefore elected to use Davis.] [While I have recorded here that her parents were George Davis and Patience Corwin, based on an entry found at LongIslandGenealogy.com, I have not yet found any collaborating sources.
