CELEBRATED 90TH BIRTHDAY
Mrs. Hannah Raynor, of Huntington, Well and Happy, Too.
Monday, Mrs. Hannah Raynor, Huntington's oldest woman resident, celebrated her ninetieth birthday in a quiet but pleasant manner, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. S. Washburn, Green street. She is unusually spry for one her age, and answered the ring of the doorbell several times herself, when quite a large number of friends and neighbors called in to pay regards to one of the finest old ladies that ever lived. She was also remembered with several handsome presents and a postcard shower.
Mrs. Raynor was assisted in celebrating by her three living daughters, Mrs. Washburn, Mrs. George Nesbitt of Brookhaven, and Mrs. John Carman of Babylon, and by her stepson, John B. Raynor, of Brooklyn, and his wife.
Except for slight deafness, and an occasional touch of rheumatism, Mrs. Raynor is unusually active. She is always cheerful. She is a native of Fire Place, now Brookhaven, where she was born on December 8, 1822, the daughter of Leverett and Catherine Brown Reeves, good old Long Island names. Her parents were sterling Methodists, and she united with that church seventy years ago. Up to a few years ago she was a great church worker.
Mrs. Raynor was married twice. Her first husband was Stephen Craft, of New York City. Five children were born to them. Mrs. Washburn and Mrs. Carman are the survivors. Her second husband was Edward Raynor, of Fire Place. Mrs. George Nesbitt, of Brookhaven, is the daughter by this marriage.

Mrs. Hannah Raynor is 87.
Wednesday, Mrs. Hannah Raynor, who lives with her daughter Mrs. C. S. Washburn, Green street, celebrated eighty-seven years of life. The old lady is bright and remarkably well preserved. She is a little deaf.
Mrs. Raynor was born at Fire Place, now Brookhaven, Long Island, in 1822, being one of six children born to Leverett Reeve and Catherine Brown. One brother is still living, David Reeves of Freehold, N.J., who is 79 years of age. She married twice, her first husband being Stephen Craft of New York. Of the five children blessing their home two are now living, Mrs. Washburn and Mrs. John Carman of Yaphank. Edward Raynor of Brookhaven was her second husband; and there was one daughter by that union, Mrs. George Nesbitt of Brookhaven. She also has a stepson, John Raynor of Brooklyn, who thinks as much of her as if she were his own mother.
