Documents | ![]() | Deacon Daniel Hawkins House Built by Daniel Hawkins on the north side of Beaver Dam R., Brookhaven Hamlet, NY. The artist Frederick W. Kost purchased the property and moved the house to the present site on the south side of the road about 1906. Kost occupied the house until he died in 1923. His sister Anna continued to live there into the 1940s. Later the Johanknecht family lived there. This document is Brookhaven/South Haven Historic Site Inventory form Br24B on the house. |
